As a Correctional Officer, your role is pivotal in achieving this mission.
Your will uphold the law, enforce facility rules, and provide security, while also offering support and guidance to the offender population and assist in ensuring they are positively reintegrated into society.
As a Correctional Officer, you will:
- Benefit from evening and overnight shift differentials, receiving an additional $2.
00 per hour.
- Enjoy one no cost meal per shift.
- Observe and report any criminal or suspicious activity, ensuring the safety and security of both the staff and the offender population.
- Enforce facility rules and regulations to maintain order and discipline.
- Conduct routine searches for contraband, helping to maintain a drug-free and safe environment.
- Monitor, evaluate, and supervise offenders in an assigned area, guiding them in rehabilitative activities.
- Work closely with an interdisciplinary team including case managers, healthcare professionals, probation and parole officers, and other staff.
