2nd shift Quality Control Inspector

This is a 2nd shift opportunity Shift is Monday through Thursday 4pm to 2:
30am.
Summary:
This position will inspect products such as 02 sensors, engine control components, etc.
to ensure compliance with contract specifications and company standards.
Checks randomly selected samples to verify accuracy of equipment or process.
PRIMARY
Responsibilities:
This position will do in-process and final inspection of automotive components.
Checks, inspects, and test product to ensure products meet engineering specifications and standards.
Uses calipers, micrometers, and various testing equipment to test and determine products quality.
Maintains inspection log and records data.
Identifies quality issues and report findings for corrective action.

Responsibilities:
Maintains regular and consistent job attendance and is prompt to meetings and appointments.
Because of the changing nature of our business, this job description will inevitably change.
The employee will, from time to time, be required to undertake other activities of a similar nature that fall within his/her capabilities as directed by management.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
High School degree or GED preferredAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions.
Must be experienced in the use of precision measuring equipment and have knowledge of engineering drawings terminology.
Should be able to deal with varying priorities and frequent workload changes.
Computer skills mandatoryKnowledge of SPC a plusOccasionally required to climb ladders, stoop, kneel, and stand for long periods of time.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Working conditions are a warehouse with a cement floor.
Employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
Noise level in the work environment is usually load.
