We are a locally owned and operated furniture store that has two locations (The Nest Furniture & Mattresses in Pacific, MO and Bahr's Furniture in Washington, MO) and have been in business for 20
years in Franklin County.
Looking for motivated individuals with a drive to succeed and grow with our business.
Experience with deliveries is preferred but not necessarily required.
Job Summary We are currently seeking a Delivery Specialist to join our team.
As a Delivery Specialist, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods to various locations.
This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to handle heavy lifting and the ability to assemble furniture.
Typical work hours are Monday - Friday 8:
30am to 4:
30pm.
We can be flexible with work hours and days if needed.
Responsibilities - Safely load and unload goods from delivery vehicles - Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries - Communicate with customers to ensure accurate and on-time deliveries - Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving - Maintain delivery logs and records Requirements - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Ability to handle heavy lifting and move large items - Excellent communication skills If you are a reliable and responsible individual with excellent driving skills, we encourage you to apply for the position of Delivery Specialist, especially if you have experience with deliveries or working for a moving service.
